It is difficult to discuss about people’s opinions about where to live because it is such a complex topic. Some people prefer to live in a small town while others prefer to live in a big city.

As far as I am concerned, I would like to live in a big city for two basic reasons.

The first reason for my position is about convenience and excitement. There are a variety of public services in big cities, such as libraries and sports centers. You can have access to these services very easily, and most of these services are free.

Besides, there are also lots of coffee shops, theatres, and pubs around your home in big cities. I think young people like us may prefer big cities more because we all like exciting and interesting things. Furthermore, convenient public transportation also allows people travel around more easier and faster than those in rural areas. By contrast, when you are living in the village, you may feel it difficult to find a pub or a supermarket near your home. In addition, you might spend up to half an hour to wait for a bus to downtown.

The second reason is related to the diversity of the culture. For example, Shenzhen is made up of people of different races, religions, and abilities. Different cultures make this city full of energy and power.

However, you can only find the same kind of people in a smaller town. I think that living in an area where everyone was just like me would be a boring thing.

In conclusion, for the reasons I have provided above, I think living in a big city has far more advantages than in a small village.
