Many people have asserted that it is best to live in one place for one’s entire life. Although it would be easy to take this statement at face value, the issue is a complex one. Personally, I disagree with this statement for two important reasons.
The first reason for my disagreement is about experience. When you live in difference places, you may learn different culture as well as meeting different people. I think living in different places will be a unique experience in one’s life, and also broaden their horizon.
The second reason is related to freshness. To be honest, living in one place for entire life is very boring to me. However, living in different places can provide me a feeling of freshness. When you are living in one new place, you need time to understand the local culture and people. I always love to discover new things because new things are sometimes mysterious and unknown, just like going through a maze.
Of course, I don’t suggest that my opinion is unassailable. Some people may say that they prefer to live in one place due to stable relationship. Nevertheless, for the reasons I have provided above, I think living in different places have more advantages than living in one place.
