Hi, teachers, please help me correct my article if there are any mistakes. Thanks!

It has been said that all television programs for children should be educational. While the first reaction of some people may be to agree with this statement, there are compelling reasons to be explore the issue more in depth. Generally speaking, there are two important reasons to disagree with this statement.
Firstly, I do not think television programs have a positive effect on children. It is not that simple to carry out such a plan proximately because you never know whether they really watch educational programs or just watch violent or other TV series. For example, my 12-year-old cousin who always asks his mother’s permission to watch English teaching program, however, he usually changes channel immediately to watch violent TV series or cartoons.
The second reason is related to boredom and stress. Nowadays, students are under great pressure to study at school. They could have relaxed themselves by watching some entertainment programs, but they have to be forced to watch boring educational programs at home. I think it is such a boring and stressful thing for children.
Of course, that’s not to say that educational programs are absolutely without any merit. Nevertheless, for the reasons I have provided, I think television programs should be a kind of entertainment not a tool of education.
