Our class had a discussion about what to do in the coming summer holiday yesterday.
Some students said they would prefer staying at home, because they want to finish the reading list and spend more time helping their parents with housework.
However, other students who were in favor of traveling abroad with their friends; said traveling abroad could broaden their knowledge and enrich their experience.
Thought, the two ways of spending the summer holiday are available. But as far as I am concerned, staying at home during the whole holiday is boring; I think proper outdoor activities can help balance their studies and health.
In addition, without adult’s company, traveling abroad alone could be dangerous for students like us. On the other hand, traveling abroad may cost a lot of money, and it could impose economic burden on our parents.
Generally speaking, I think we can organize a camping trip or other activities in the first few days of the summer holiday.
Besides, studying at home and sharing opinions about reading on the Internet is also a good idea.
