Recently, whether it is necessary for students to take morning exercise has aroused a heated discussion among students in our school.
Some students think that taking physical exercise every day has a lot of benefits to our health. However, other students claim that doing morning exercise is a waste of time. Students have to spend all of their time on studying and preparing for their coming examinations. Therefore, doing morning exercise has an undoubtedly negative impact on our study.
From my point of view, I think students should do morning exercises regularly for two important reasons.
The first reason is health. Doing morning exercise helps us to build a fit and strong body. According to a medical research, nearly 40 percent of Chinese teenagers are overweight. It is believed that unhealthy diet and sedentary lifestyle are the leading reasons for obesity and heart disease that most often affect teenagers. Therefore, doing morning exercise is essential for a healthy life.
The second reason is that morning exercise is a good way to start our day.
Breathing fresh air in the morning makes our brain stay fresh and sensitive.
In addition, regular morning exercise has a positive effect on boosting our level of energy which helps to improve our concentration all day long.
There is no doubt that a fresh brain and an energetic body are beneficial to our study and performance.
In brief, from the reasons I have given above, I think morning exercise plays a significant role not only in our health but also in our study. Consequently, we should advise students to do more morning exercise and lead a healthy diet.
