Is the life for teenagers today is easier than then their parents were young?

Personally speaking, I think this statement is partly truth and I listed my opinions as follows.
Modern technological advancements have brought some great changes to people’s life. More and more people are willing to go shopping online. Window shops can not only offer goods with excellent quality and reasonable prices but also make people easier to pay. Besides, with the development of food technology, people can various foods, such as preserved foods and fast food everywhere. We don’t need to spend a lot of time on cooking. However, people had to waste a plenty of time on preparing food in the past and many people in our parent’s time couldn’t even afford three meals a day.

What’s more, we were born in this modern hi-tech society. Compared with our parents, we have much technology available nowadays to learn new knowledge today. For example, it is very convenient for our generation to find some learning resources on the internet and most of these resources can be downloaded free at any time. However, in our parent’s time, the only places they could find books are library and book stores.

Also, that is truth that we really have far greater opportunities than our parents ever did. For example, various kind of new jobs have been created since last 20 years, such as confinement ladies, who are not nurses but they have special knowledge and related experience about how to take care of newborn babies and puerpera. People are easier to get a job nowadays.
However, our lives are not all better and easier than those in our parent’s time. Young people today have to face with fierce competition and suffer from great pressure from work and study, environmental pollution, food safety, and so on.
