Essay & Composition Writing

Hi Teachers, Please help correct my letter if there are any grammatical mistakes. Thank you very much!

Dear Uncle Tom,

I’m writing to express my gratitude to you for your lovely gift. It was so considerate and wonderful of you to remember my birthday. You have a positive genius for selecting the right gift. Just beyond my imagination, I found there was a one-hundred note in the red envelope.
I will donate the lucky money to the Animals Protection Group. Many years ago, I saw a cover of Time Magazine and I was deeply impressed by the horrible scene: several foxes lived in a tiny and dirty iron cage; their eyes were filled with horror and despair. Because not far away from their cage were the bloody corpses of their own kind, these animals were tortured to death.

As long as we know the truth the fur industry causes animals, we would not wear fur any more. There was a slogan in an animal protection advertisement: No buying No killing. If people stop purchasing fur products, countless animals will be saved.

Animals, as well as human, have the right to live in the earth.
Since I have to prepare for my coming chemistry exam, I’m afraid I have to stop now, but I will write to you again soon.

Thanks again for your lovely gift and say hello to Aunt Rose for me.
Your loving niece,
Mary
