Nowadays, scientists can make the production easier and cheaper by using chemicals and other artificial procedures. However, it has aroused wide concern among the public these days.
From my point of view, I agree to use scientific technology properly in the food manufacturing process. There are two reasons contributing to my idea as follows:
For one thing, it is known to us that there are countless people starved to death in the poor areas, many of them struggle to eat just even once a day. The agriculture output may increase sharply with the development of scientific technology. For this reason, we can solve the food shortage problem effectively and people don’t need to face starvation any more.
For another thing, a number of farmers in rural regions have burnt off a lot of forests to clear land just because they needed more fields to grow crops. But hardly did they know that deforestation and over-reclamation had brought a negative impact on our environment.
I think it is time for our government to take some immediate actions to protect our environment and help the local farmers involve more advanced technology in their farming.

In this way, we can achieve the double wins of economy and environmental protection.
