Some people think it would be a good idea for schools to teach every young person how to be a good parent. Do you agree or disagree? Describe the skills a person needs to be a good parent.

The way of raising children has been always a debated topic between psychological experts. Some believe that pedagogical experts and teachers should incorporate modern methods of growing up children into schools curriculum, while others oppose this idea. In my opinion, adolescents should be educated about the correct methods of raising their future children, leading to a reduction in crime rates and making them independent.

Expecting children to follow whatever parents instruct them will affect their self-confidence. Universities and educational systems should incorporate the appropriate courses about how to behave with little ones to prevent anti-social behaviour of the future generations. In some Asian countries, like China, parents had forced their children to blindly obey them. Consequently, the amount of innovations has reduced until a decade ago, due to the fact that that the government changed this strategy, resulting in an improvement in education and a thriving economy.

Furthermore, with today’s technology children are not dependent on their parents as much as the past. They can absorb the required knowledge through the media, the Internet and so forth. If parents are not educated enough to communicate with the modern children, they probably will not listen to the parents and will incline more to emulate their peers and celebrities, resulting in disobeying personality

In conclusion, it is justified to say that the educational systems like universities should provide sufficient resources to young people about the correct way of raising children. This will result in improving the social skills of children and increasing their self-esteem.
