In conclusion, from what has been discussed above, I firmly agree that space exploration is of great use to our scientific research. I think it is time to figure out some questions which have plagued us for hundreds of years. For example, no one knows whether space life or another earth exists or not.

1. Looking through earth-based telescopes and instruments to observe objects in space.
2. Launching satellites with scientific instruments that can observe objects in space and send back data. (Some of these instruments have returned physical samples to earth. http://stardust.jpl.nasa.gov/news/news115.html )
3. Sending astronauts to nearby, uninhabitable planets (like Mars) to do experiments and bring back rock samples.
Is that what you mean by "something interesting from space"?
4. Building a large, habitable space station that can make long voyages into space to discover and explore earth-like planets and perhaps find intelligent life forms.
