Topic:You are writing an article for your school magazine on a recent school exchange visit.
I am very excited and honored for being chosen as one of the student who have taken part in the school exchange visit project last month. I have stayed with my host family the Lees in Beijing for two weeks. Every one of them is nice and I learned a lot from them.
Mr. Lee and Lucy, his daughter invited me to visit the Children’s Palace on a sunny Sunday. There were many traditional activities, like Peking Opera, Chinese acrobatics and cross- talks, which left me a deep impression that China is a vast ancient country
with a rich culture heritage. What made me interested most is that I learned how to play mahjong, and I can play mahjong with Chinese people who live nearby.
From my perspective, exchange visit is of great important for students, because we can not only have the opportunity to meet different people and learn about different culture but become more independent, it is a positive and unique experience.
