Well, I'd been thinking of doing so. It appears to be one of many features of the accounting software.

I must have misunderstood the original. Now that I've read it again, the first sentence should be something like:

"...Goods from several orders can be delivered simultaneously, or in a different order..." [different = other than planned/expected/scheduled...is there a better word for that?; is it weird to have the same word twice in the same sentence, but each time conveying a different meaning?].

Anyway, thanks a lot! I'll try and use some of your suggestions to rewrite the paragraph.

"... several ... different ... " looks good to me. Another idea would be to avoid repetition by bringing in a new word such as consignment, shipping, batch - or just "to send". Something like ...

- Goods from several orders can be sent simultaneously or batched in separate deliveries

This shows we've misunderstood each other. Or, rather, I've failed to explain it. The second instance of the word order has a meaning different from the first one; it is supposed to mean sequence or succession, but I don't know if either of those words could be used here.

How about this:

Goods from several different orders can be delivered (sent) simultaneously or in a different (incorrect?) sequence.

Would that make sense?
