How have you been recently?
I just received your letter this morning, and I am glad that you have noticed the efforts China’s government have made towards environmental protection.
As overuse of plastic bags has caused serious pollution in China, our government has implemented a statewide fee on plastic shopping bags since 2010, and encourages the public to use environmentallyfriendly shopping bags instead of plastic bags.
The environmentally friendly bags are made of eco-materials which have less harm to the environment. Besides, they can be reused or degradable.
With the enhanced awareness of environmental protection, an increasing number people in China have realized the advantages of environmentally friendly bags and started using them every day.
I believe that the wide use of these shopping bags can greatly improve our environment.
