Please proofread this paragraph that I wrote to explain why my job is related to my degree. I need to show this relation so I can work legally in the US.

This position aligns with my experience that I gained during the past two years at University of ABS to receive a Master’s degree in Chemistry, with a concentration of Chemical Biology. Specifically, I will perform independent and group projects to study the formation and function of cilia which is essential for embryonic development and physiology. In this position, I will be able to apply my scientific knowledge and continue getting more training from general skills such as reading scientific literature and databases, appropriate data analysis, lab notebook keeping, to those more technical such as protein isolation, immunoblotting, protein biochemistry, and microscopy.
