proofread pls

The responsibility of the carrier covers the period during which the carrier is in charge of the goods, starting from the time of loading of the goods onto the ship until the time the goods are discharged therefrom.

The above is the official translation of an article of law which I run into by chance. I have a doubt about the part which is indicated above.

First, I think "starting" here should be "lasting"; alternatively use "starting from the time...... and ceasing at the time ..."

Second, "the time of loading of the goods onto the ship" and "the time the goods are discharged therefrom" are not parallel. use phrases or clauses for both instead of one comes in phrase the other a clause.

The above are just my personal opinons. I'm not sure if I'm right. The original is doubtlessly an expert version anyway.

I'd like to hear what comments you have.

Thanks
