Pronunciation of used to and did not use to

What is the proper American pronunciation for "used to" and "did not use to"? Is the d in "used to" a /d/ or a /t/ ? Is the s in "did not use to" an /s/ or a /z/? Thanks very much!

anonymous did not use to It's rare to say this. It's "didn't use to". In both the affirmative and in the negative, the "s" in "used" in pronounced /s/, not /z/, and the "d" in "used" is silent.
