That is a New Zealand accent. They interpret many of the vowels very differently from the way I do here in the Midle Atlantic USA.

That is a New Zealand accent. They interpret many of the vowels very differently from the way I do here in the Midle Atlantic USA.

Mr. Tomtell me how these words sound to you? ten, centre, said, etc.

They sound normal for the region. In New Zealand [?] shades to [e].

There are more surprises, though. Many of them say [?gz] for "eggs".
