pronunciation of "based". . .

1. hi. last night, i watched read it and weep, a disney channel original movie, and there was this girl who pronounced "based" as "bazed". If the accepted pronunciation is "bayst", does that mean she mispronounced it?

2. Is Polk pronounced like Folk???

3. When do you say "go with you" and "come with you"? Or do they mean the same thing(interchangeable)?

Thanks for the reply.

I thought i heard it wrong, but i repeated the part where she said "based" several times, and she did say "bazed".

At least now i know how come and go with you are used.
