Pronunciation of 'interesting'

I'm a bit confused regarding the pronunciation of 'interesting'. In movies it is sometimes pronounced In-tur-ES-ting, with the accent falling on the third syllable, whereas according to dictionaries it is IN-tris-ting, with the accent on the first syllable.

Are both pronunciations acceptable? Is so, is the dictionary one considered more accurate?

Thank you!
