Pronunciation of ear and year

Heya! This is more of a request for an evalution of my pronunciation than a question itself, I hope that's okay.

I trained the /y/ phoneme for a bit, and I believe I made some progress that's worth sharing with you guys.

Without further ado, here it goes:

It's not /y/. It's /j/. (If you're using IPA.)
