Pronunciation of 'default'

Dictionary dot com says the pronunciation of 'default' is dih-fawlt. However I heard several native speakers on TV or YouTube pronounce it as 'dee-fawlt'. Can you tell me which is correct? How do you pronounce it?

I use both pronunciations.
"The default choice is lower-case letters." (dih-fawlt) Emphasis on second syllable.
"Since I could not attend the game, I had to default the match." (dee-fawlt) Emphasis on first syllable.
I learned the second while living in Canada.
