Pronunciation of admiral [ǽdmərəl]

admiral [?dm?r?l]
ladder [l?d?r]

Is the d in the word admiral pronounced as a flap sound like d in the word ladder?

I think that because of m sound before the vowel ?, it should not be pronounced as a flap sound but it sounds like a flap sound to my ears.

What do you native English speakers think? Thank you so much as usual in advance.

This is not a difficult word to pronounce. In particular, the "d" in it is not a problem. Pronounce simply as: ADD-mrull.

It is usually pronounced as ad-mi-ral. The letter d is pronounced clearly, as it is in the word ladder. The mi part should be pronounced like the mi part of the words middle and mix.
