Speech & Pronunciation

pronunciation (j sound between 's' and 'y')

Hello All,

When I listen the phrase "as you" which pronounced by native speaker, I listen a little bit of the sound j between 'as' and 'you'.
Am I right? Is it a somewhat pronunciation rule?

Thank You!

In IPA that's [æ?u?] as heard in speech at normal speed for /æzju?/.
