Pronunciation and meaning of estoque

Would someone please tell me the pronunciation and meaning of the word, "estoque"? I'm reading the Hardy Boys book, The Mystery of the Broken Blade , to my 4 yr old son, and i've been stumped as to how to pronounce this word. I think i've come up with four different enunciations thus far. It's not in any of our dictionaries nor in 9 of the online dictionaries that i've checked.
I believe it's a Spanish synonym for sword (as a matador uses), but i have no clue how to pronounce it.
Thanks,
Chris

OED gives /'EstA.k/ for the spelling and /esto'kada/ for (the final thrust of the estoque).
The Spanish word "estoque" is /es'tokwe/. You're on your own for Portuguese.
