which is pronounced differently?
A. Concerned
B. Candied
C. Travelled
D. Dried
Hi That's intriguing. As a native speaker, I have no idea. I just say the word and put the sound of 'd' at the end: - Concern, concerned - Candy, candied - Travel, travelled - Dry, dried My best guess is 'candied'.

My best guess is 'candied'. We tend to give a longer syllable at the end, to distinguish it from 'candid'. I'd be interested to know what others think
