Pronunciation

hello,

please i,m a bit confused regarding the pronunciation of vowel sounds, are the american vowels sound like the british one and do they follow IPA

Greetings, You have asked about the pronunciation of vowel sounds, well first you should know that all the foreign languages follow IPA [International Phonetic Alphabet], you can also find British pronunciation of words from "Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary" and "Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary" while American Pronunciation can be found on "Merriam-Webster" which is mostly based on respelling systems [use Roman symbols].
