Pronunciation

I would like to know how the British pronounce "Bridle". I hear sometimes people pronounce as BRE-DLE" and "Bri-dle" that sounds like "bridal". So which is which. I would like to know.

The Compact Oxford Dictionary offers this proununciation– /'br??d(?)l/ – but no doubt there are regional variations in this as in all words.
