Pronunciation

My daughter's name is Jowan (Jowan means rendezvous in Kurdish) . Its J is pronunced as G in the word "GENRE". In other words it's pronunciation in phonetics is "?w?n". My question is how I can spell her name to be pronunced correctly by an english speaker? Is it possible at all? Thanks.

English speakers are notorious for mispronouncing unusual names no matter how they are spelt. I think 'Jwun' or 'Zhwun' is about as close as you could hope for.

Thank you Mister Micawber. It was helpful. By the way, are you a native English. I want it just for my reference.

Thanks again.

Have you taken the time to examine my Profile, Kareem?

Yes, I have. After sending my last message I noticed that I could examine your profile. And while examining your profile I wished I had a Mister Micawber here in my home town as well. We have a saying in Kurdish that says "Baghdad is too far for a poor man! ". Which means Japan is too far form me to come and enjoy your classes.
