Pronouncing the dreaded "s" (lisp)

I always have the wind noise coming out from my mouth when i pronounce ''s''ound, ''s''ong etc. How do I correct this, it does annoy me as people do not take me seriously, sometimes i think maybe it is because my tongue might be longer but surely this can be corrected?
