Pronounciation of 'anaesthetize'?

How do you pronounce 'anaesthetize'? Several online dictionaries tell me it's ?'nes?i?tiz but I am quite confident that I have heard it pronounced as ?'nes?i?tiz (I hope the phonetic symbols show up correctly). Which one is correct? Are both acceptable?
