Pronoun 'Such'

In most cases, these permits permits have very limited expiry dates and most of them expire once you leave the country where you procured such.

Can such be the pronoun for an article as well as a noun (these permits)?

You really must be mindful to renew or secure permits prior the expiry date of your visa or get yourself out of that country before the visa expiry. Not doing such will give you sanctions that can even blacklist you from entering the country ever again.

Does this pronoun such work here? Is it better to use 'so' or 'this' instead?

It's understandable, but it would have been better to use "where you procured them".
