Pronoun Reference Errors Help?

I really need help revising each of the following for faulty pronoun reference. I've got a few of them, but I want to make sure I'm on the right track. Thanks Emotion: smile

1. Everyone will have an opportunity to rewrite their paper for a better grade.
2. A young child needs a chance to learn these lessons on their own.
3. The New York School District let go fifty of their teachers.
4. Neither my aunt nor my grandmother would tell the truth about their age.
5. Out of six different men, each claimed they had a tattoo of Angelina’s name somewhere on their person.
6. Some young mothers yell at their children in public when they are upset.
7. Julia wore an outfit of mixed stripes and plaid for her interview, which was fine.
8. Parents and teachers meet once a month to hear how they think their children are doing.
9. Michael told his brother to stand beside his car when he returned so that he could see him.
10. Lucinda reminded Darla that she owed her twenty dollars and that she needed to pay her by her next paycheck.
11. The beach was littered with broken glass. The park service should look into it.
12. The harder I tugged the leash, the more Rex refused to come, until it made me totally exasperated.
13. Mike did not like school because they treat students like numbers, not real people.
14. No one wants to be taken advantage of. This is a sure way to lose a person’s trust.
15. Drivers refuse to slow down on this street; they need to find a way to put a stop to this.
16. When a wife is feeling jealous, a wise husband will always try to talk to them about it. This will do them more good than they realize. It will also help them know what to do the next time it happens to them.

Hi Anon, If you're got a few of them then please put your answers down. Some of these will be harder than you think - the use of "their" for a singular reference when the *** is not known is well established, but a prescriptivist will frown. As for #16, who will it do good?
