Pronoun problem

In the below website, the sentence doesn’t seem that the underlined pronoun “them” doesn’t agree with its referent “water.”

Can you tell me why?

The plural pronoun "them" makes a reference to both wind and water as agents of erosion. The sentence could be better written though.

Oh yeah, sorry. The sentence does still sound a bit off to me though.
