Promise to

  1. John promised Mary to be there at one o'clock, and he promised Jill to, as well.
  2. John promised Mary to be there at one o'clock, and he promised Jill to be, as well.
  3. John promised Mary to go to a movie, and he promised Jill to, as well.



Context:

John is a cheating bastard, and has two girlfriends: Mary and Jill. One day, he wanted to go on a date with Mary or with Jill ( either was fine for him), so he sent them a mail. Then, both of Mary and Jill readily accepted the invitation.
