Progressive?

Hi,

Is this correct:

I'm happy to see you and look forward to seeing you again.

Or does the "look" need to say "looking"? Some native speakers say it should say looking because it refers to I'm. Others say it is basically a separate sentence where the "I" before "look" was omitted.
