Progress Report

Can anybody help me improve the following progress report? Thank you.

Dear Williams,

I would like update you the progress of various projects during the past few weeks. Details are as follows:

1) We contacted Ms. Jones on 20.05.2016, asking her for re-setting three control points in the upcoming orienteering game since the most adjacent plants and trees would avoidably be affected when the participants attempt to reach those points. Ms. Jones replied on 28.05.2016 that she found very difficult to re-locate the control points to where are away from the plants and trees given limited time for re-arrangement.

2) The Mayor cited the local residents' opinion on 18.05.2016, requesting us to consider re-planting some trees at the garden to enhance the sunlight sheltering effect to the users. After assessing the planting environment of the garden on 20.05.2016, we were convinced that the garden was unsuitable for any plantation work at that moment considering generally poor soil condition, already dense plating area and our shortage of saplings.

3) We found that the repair work on the children play equipment was still unfinished during our routine inspection to the playground on 06.06.2016. To our disappointment, we initially expected the work would be completed by 06.06.2016 as promised by the contractor in the letter dated 04.05.2016. We trusted that the continued deferment was unacceptable and therefore we asked the contractor for the provision of justification as we had to report the development of the work to the Board on 18.06.2016.

Thank you for your attention.

Your sincerely,
TR
