Program

I am looking for program like WORD that can check the correctness of my spelling and grammar when I write a composition.Especially whole sentences. I am using WORD but it is not precise enough, I mean it misses a lot of mistakes - grammar mistakes, that are very common by me. {is it correct to say here by me???? lol}
If someone has any information that may be useful I will be glad to see it. Thank you in advance.

It's "grammar mistakes, which I [commonly/often] make."

I don't know of another software package that's better than WORD for your purposes. Maybe someone else will provide you with more information on that topic.

Don't do it, Mav! Those things are notoriously erratic. There is no substitute for learning the language.

That doen't mean that I don't want to learn the language. Often I want to check myself if I have no typos or smth like this. I have just been suggested by my friend to use one so I want to try it out...Unfortunately he didn't give the name of any such program

I agree with Mister Micawber's thinking.....Grammar programmes rely on speech-recognition technology to do its grammar guesswork, and English is just too quirky to reliably fall in line with rigid rules. Also, having a programme tell you something is correct/incorrect is one thing, knowing "why" is another.

I certainly prefer to put my text here in forum or ask someone to explain about the reasons of a correct option. But sometimes I get a lot of HW and I am compelled to finish it at night.Therefore unfortunately I don't have time to post my text here (in forum) and of course not to wait. So if I want to check myself I have no other option but put it into WORD.
