There are some kinds of university professors who live in one city but fly to other cities in a matter of one day or two to teach at different universities according to their high reputation, and are usually paid highly.
What do we cal these professors?

You know Iman, I know of which professors you are talking about, cause I am from Iran too, just like you. And I Also don't think that the same is true anywhere else in the world, like say in the USA. In the US of A, professors usually stay in one place for at least one semester I guess, cause flying around the country will get them all fuzzy and such I guess.

- Accordingly I myself (and my friends) call these kind of professors "flying professors" and it has caught on in our university.
- Every one around here calls them "flying professors", even the flying-professors themselves refer to themselves as that sometime.
