Thanks in advance

I've noticed that learners of English say staff a lot, but native speakers do not. The word employees is more common. We also speak of the workers.

  • A professional job is one which requires a person to have some form of higher education or training, eg an accountant, a lawyer, an engineer..
  • (An exception to the above is that In a school the teachers are referred to as the staff).
