Hi, I am looking for the standard agreed-upon format for writing numbers in, say, a memo or a C.V. At which point do you stop writing out, for example, "twelve" and make it "12?" Thanks again.

There are exceptions where you usually use numerals whatever the number (e.g. with unit symbols, or in technical contexts).
