Production of Natural products

Hey,

I'm writing my final project, and I was asked to translate the summary to English.
The study is taking place in a facility in which Antibiotics and other natural substances are produced in fermentation processes.
In my language, I say, that the facility produces natural products/substances.
Can I say it in English as well?
Natural products are molds, antibiotics and so on...

Thanks Emotion: smile

"natural products" is very wide-ranging, and of the numerous things it could mean, antibiotics and moulds would not be high on my list of things that come to mind. "natural substances" may be better, but I wonder whether you could make use of the word "biochemical", which is more specific. Does that fit the overall theme?

Whoo! You gave me a great idea. I can write: "Biochemicals" instead, which actually describes better, what the company produces. Although I might use "natural substances" as well... I had the feeling that this is better than "natural products".

Thanks! You are great.
