Product inquiry

Hi,

Yesterday, I received a British client's phone call. He enquired about one of our products S-705, as I did not quite familiar with the way he spoke English, so I could only grasp the main key words he was speaking. Although his Enlish should be standard Enligsh, I would still like to ask for help here, as follows:

1. When a foreign client makes a enquiry phone call, what should I say first?

Is the following ok, or there are better expression:

--Hello, Who's that please? This is Smith

--What product would you like to enquire about? (something seems missing before saying that...)

2. Could you please list out some enquiry questions that a native English speaker may use when he or she refers to the topics such as: price, availability(sample or product), lead time/ delivery date.etc.

Thanks again for your help.

I have no idea what the man might have said, from the notes you have given us, but as far as what you should say, I suggest: 1. Hello, this is ABC Company, Mr Yanx speaking. May I help you?
