Process task 1.2

The flow charts illustrate how cement is produced and the manufacturing process of concrete.

Overall, there are five main stages in the process of making cement, beginning with crushing mixture of limestone and clay, and finishing with packaging. Meanwhile, only two steps are required to create concrete.

At the initial stage of the cement-making process, limestone and clay are crushed into powder by a machine called crusher. This power is then mixed and is brought into a rotating heater for fire heating at the third stage. The process continues with grinding the material and after that cement is produced. The cement producing process concludes after the cement is backaged in bags.

Moving to the second diagram, the concrete production is much easier than that of cement-one. Firstly, ingredients including cement, sand, water, and gravel are mixed together with the proportion of 15%, 25%, 10%, and 50% respectively. Afterwards, this blend is put into a concrete mixer where the concrete finally be manufactured and can be ready to be used.
