Hi Mr. Micawber,

I also confused with these two words. How to use and what is the difference ?

I alway heard people says : Please proceed the shipment. or Please proceed accordingly. Seems "proceed" is more common than "process" ?

Thanks

Please proceed the shipment-- this is incorrect English, Zoe
Please proceed accordingly.-- this is OK, but does not mean 'process'.

Proceed
(intransitive)-- follow a certain course
Process (tranistive)-- subject to a treatment, with the aim of readying for some purpose
