This is my immediate perception and how I would say this:

I've finished writing a complaint letter to an organization concerning its discriminatory behaviors / actions, and I want to
ask my attorney this question: "Can you advise how I should proceed with this letter?"

Attorneys won't tell their clients what they should do. They "advise". Also " within the construction of the sentence, I think "letter of complaint" sound a bit stiff., not wrong though..
