Hi, Both seem OK, but I prefer 'for transferring'. I think it conveys more the idea that this is the intention/purpose of the procedure, rather than the transfer being, for example, just a secondary result. Best wishes, Clive

I don't think I ever use the infinitive after procedure.

I would say

Here is the procedure for transferring a car title.
Do you know the procedure for transferring a car title?
The procedure for transferring a car title is simple.
