Vocabulary

Proceding, above, previous

Hi Friends,
Glad being here. Here is my first post.

Passage A
Passage B
Passage C

If in each of the passages, we have a conclusion. Now in passage D, we want to mention one of them like this: ... the proceding/above/previous conclusion tells us ... Could you tell me what this conclusion mentioned in passage D could be?

If you are confused by what I asked here, please simply tell me the difference of the expressions "the proceding/above/previous conclusion."

Thanks a lot.

I'm confused; do you mean ' pre ceding'? Please note also that you have presented 3 preceding conclusion s (A, B and C).

Thanks, Mister Micawber. Yes, it should be preceding. Sorry about my carelessness.
... Then, when shall I use the phase "the previous/above conclusion"?

If you have 3 conclusions in the previous passages, then you cannot use the phrase with the singular ('the previous/above conclusion') without ambiguity; you will have to specify: 'the conclusion in the previous/last paragraph'.
