Problem with the ending "s"

Is this sentence correct? If not can you tell me why "s" does not go there?

Lennie loves to hear George talks about his dream of having a farm of his own someday.

Lennie kills a woman by touching her. Do I put "killed" or "Kills"

Thanks a lot Tutor.
