Problem with tenses

Hi there! I have a problem with tenses in the sentence below. If this version it isn't correct, what one would be?

"The meeting took its place in Orlovek, where I'd sneaked into through one of the secret passages I knew from Dmitriy, who's mentioned it once, when we weren't enemies yet."

Thank yoy so much in advance!
