I did an exercise with "have something done" structure, and the question "Do you have the washing machine fixed?" is not true and the true question is "Did you have the washing machine fixed?" or "Have you had the washing machine fixed?" Anyone can explain why I have to use like these but the present simple tense question? Thank you
" These ask if the washing machine was fixed once in the past . " This asks if the washing machine is regularly fixed, maybe once every week or once every month. CJ
